I'll tell you if cold email won't work for you.
Most agencies sell more inboxes and more volume. I test the offer, the market and the message first, then scale only what works.
What you can hold me to
- 01I write every teardown myself. My read on your email, not a script.
- 02A straight answer, free.Written, within 48 hours. No call.
- 03No meeting guarantees.I'd rather you meet people who can buy.
- 04Nothing scales until it's proven.A campaign starts only if the 150 Test says go.
Volume isn't a strategy.
Most of this industry runs on one idea: send more. More domains, more inboxes, more sequences. When the numbers are bad, the answer is always a bigger number.
I don't believe cold email should be done at massive scale just to make growth happen faster. Done that way, it burns through the very people you most want to reach.
So I start somewhere else. Where are you trying to go? What are you selling, and who are you trying to reach? Is cold email actually the right vehicle to get you there? I put my energy into your actual vision, then take deliberate steps toward it.
I don't sell cold email just because I happen to offer it.
If it's not cold email, I'll tell you.
Sometimes the honest answer is no.
- Cold email isn't the right approach for your business.I'll tell you.
- People land on your homepage and don't convert. The problem may be your homepage, not your lack of cold email.
- You're brand new, with no real presence or proof, and you need clients fast.I may tell you you're not ready for it yet.
And I won't leave you there.
I've seen a lot of businesses up close: their offers, websites, sales processes, positioning and growth problems. Over time, that turns into pattern recognition. I can often look at a business and see where the revenue is leaking.
When cold email isn't the bottleneck, I'll tell you what I think is. That might mean sharpening your positioning. It might mean rebuilding your website, which I can help with too. Or it might mean something completely different.
The point isn't to force every problem through the cold-email-shaped hole I happen to sell.
The point is to solve the actual problem.
If I can help, I'll help. If I can't, I'll tell you that too.
Test small. Scale what earns it.
When cold email is the right move, I approach it deliberately.
Teardown
3 reasons your email is ignored, plus the email I'd send instead. Within 48 hours, no call.
The 150 Test
A rebuilt offer sent to 150 accounts that can buy now. Every reply, and a straight go / no‑go.
Campaign
Only if the test says go. Then I scale the offer that won.
Money isn't the whole point.
Of course I make money from this. That's how a business works. But it's not the payoff I care about most.
The real payoff is when a client tells me they closed a deal. When they get on a call with someone I helped them reach. When a customer pays them. When they come back and say, “You're the best.”
That's the part I love.
I want the value I create to show up in my clients' results. If it does, I'll make money too. If it doesn't, why should I expect to get paid?
That means no lying to clients, no exaggerated results, and no telling people what they want to hear just to close a deal. Eventually, that gets exposed. Someone always finds out.
Honesty isn't a slogan. It's the business model.
If I make a bad recommendation, you don't just lose money. You lose trust in me.
A great experience might bring me ten more clients. A bad one, and you'll tell ten other people.
So my incentives are simple. Be honest about what I believe will work. Align with the vision of the founders I work with. And be willing to say “Don't do cold email yet” when that's the right answer.
I don't claim to be honest because it sounds good on a homepage. I can't afford not to be.
For me, cold email isn't a volume game.
It's a strategy game.
And sometimes the best cold email strategy is not sending an email at all. Cold email is one tool. Solving the actual problem is the job.
